Browsing: Disocactus

Disocactus is a genus of epiphytic cacti found in Central America, the Caribbean and northern South America. The species grow in tropical regions either on trees as epiphytes or on rocks as lithophytes. The name comes from the Greek "dis" meaning twice or double, which refers to the fact that both outer and inner flower segments are of the same length.
